Who is Bops?

My real name is Amy Grace, but Bops is a family name that stuck ever since I was a baby. Born and raised in the sleepy coastal town of Durban, South Africa, I always knew my ambition would outgrow my humble surroundings soon enough. It happened sooner than I had imagined - after studying a three-year Bachelor's Degree at an advertising school, I was itching to move to a big city and immerse myself in the hustle and bustle I felt I had been missing out on.

I lived in the fast-paced city of Johannesburg, South Africa's business hub, for just over two years, and I had just started making it my home when greater opportunities called me abroad.

 

Now, as I embark on my boldest adventure yet, I want to take those I love with me on the journey. We'll consider this my online diary. A place where I hope to document my experiences, goals, observations, travel advice, trips, culture shocks - all the good and the bad.
